By-Law 2026-09 The Community of Three Rivers Rural Plan

Draft Community of Three Rivers Rural Plan By-law No 2026-09 February 19th, 2026 During the Regular Council Meeting of February 18th, 2026, the Community of Three Rivers Council held First and Second Reading, by title only, of the consolidated Rural Plan, being By-law No. 2026-09, which merges the former Village of Petitcodiac Rural Plan with the Westmorland Albert Rural Plan. The following constitutes public notice under Section 70 of the Local Governance Act. The Rural Plan By-law in draft form is available online here (https://threeriversnb.ca) and here (https://plan360.ca/area/the-community-of-three-rivers). Printed copies are also available for examination at the Municipal Office, 63 Main Street, Petitcodiac, NB during regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday except holidays. Summary of Community of Three Rivers Rural Plan By-law No. 2026-09 The proposed consolidation of the former Village of Petitcodiac Rural Plan and the Westmorland Albert Rural Plan is intended to serve as the creation of one single rural plan document for the entire Community of Three Rivers. This is a consolidation of existing policies and regulations that reflect the present and long-term land use goals and objectives for the Community and directs the future and day-to-day development of the municipality. The Public Hearing was held on February 4th, 2026, at the Municipal Office and the necessary required public notification under the Community Planning Act had been fulfilled through posting on the municipal website. As stated during the public hearing, no written submissions were submitted to the Clerk, and no members of the public attended the Public Hearing.

By-Law 2023-06 ATV By-Law for The community of Three Rivers


February 13, 2025PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Community of Three Rivers Council is considering adoption of a revised version of By-Law 2023-06: The Community of Three Rivers Municipal By-Law Designating Portions of Roads to be Accessible to Off-Road Vehicles. The purpose of the proposed By-law is to allow ATVs access to
Schedule A - Maple Street, a portion of Pollett River Road and Hooper Lane to enable connection of their existing trail system to their clubhouse located on Maple Street Schedule B - Railway Avenue to connect their existing trail systems Schedule C - Main Street from Route 106 (Old Post Road) to 50 Main Street to allow ATVs access to amenities in downtown Petitcodiac area
The Process for Adoption of the By-Law is as follows:
First two readings by Council on March 5, 2025 The By-Law goes to the province for approval A public meeting will be held to discuss the By-Law and any concerns residents may have At that point, if the process progresses, the third and final reading, along with the adoption of the By-Law will take place
